The U.S. Senate today failed to back up Barack Obama’s strategy to bring more rules, restrictions, regulations and requirements to America’s gun owners in a series of votes on amendments – results that reveal a fundamental opposition to Democrats’ desire to mess with the Second Amendment.
The votes were on amendments to a bill by Sen. Harry Reid, D-Nev., advanced last week, 68-31, to the discussion level in the Senate.
